Next up is this beautiful original Belgian movie poster from the first rerelease of Michael Curtiz's prize fighting classic drama, Kid Galahad (aka The Battling Bellhop). This film starred Edward G. Robinson, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart and Wayne Morris as the title character. The movie was remade twice as The Wagons Roll At Night (again, with Bogart) and as a musical starring Elvis Presley. This poster is from the 1st re-release of the film in Belgium. It probably dates from the late 1940's or early 1950's. It does feature beautiful Belgian artwork (oddly without Bette Davis) and seldom comes up for sale or auction.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.5" x 20" (on linen)

CONDITION:  Very Good Condition On Linen.  Prior to backing, the top white border was trimmed and the poster was folded as originally issued. This poster has been stored flat for over 22 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube on linen. Please see photos for all condition issues.
