This gorgeous painting captures the beauty of Venice and its iconic Bridge of Sighs rendered in dark blues. The gondolier adds a touch of romance to the scene, which was expertly done in watercolor. The artist's signature is present, although it is difficult to decipher. Nicely framed and matted.

This original painting was purchased a prior owner on a trip to Italy. Nothing else is know of its provenance.
