This colourful coffee can and saucer was made by Copeland Spode , it is from the Pat Preller collection and bears her label on the base . It also bears a retailers mark for Daniel of Wigmore st , London and the saucer bears an impressed 11/92 , for November 1892 , on the base of the saucer .
It was made as a latter replacement piece to go with an earlier New Hall service .
It is decorated with hand painted flowers with a cobalt blue ground and enriched with gilding . This is New Hall pattern number 1221 .
The coffee can stands at 2 1/4" high and the saucer measures 4 7/8" in diameter .
It is in good condition with no chips or cracks , there is some glaze crazing on the saucer .
The gilding is good .
I will be listing lots more New Hall from the Pat Preller collection over the next few months , due to Pat thinning out her large collection .
