This is a lovely French copper colander which has been polished and is in a good used condition as shown in the photos. This copper strainer with brass handles and tin lining has a lovely farmhouse kitchen character. This is not an antique sieve, more retro or vintage. probably 15-20 years old at the most, fairly lightweight at just 0.5kg and the tin lining, although marked from age. has no copper showing and so is safe to use for food.
