Great Nippon breakfast set for one. Consisting of 13 pieces. On a white ground each piece is hand painted with a broad band of a pretty light pink and trimmed with gold gilt on the rims, handles and finials. A  simple and classic look.  Although there is no matching cup and saucer in this set a simple white set would fit in just fine. Serve Mom breakfast in bed for a Mother's Day treat or for any special occasion. Marked on the reverse of each piece in blue Hand Painted , The Rising Sun emblem, and NIPPON. This mark was used from 1911-1929.  Displays beautifully.

All measurements are approximate:

Coffee pot measures 6" tall to the top of the finial x 3" in diameter.

Tea pot measures  3 6/8" tall x  " wide from handle to spout.

Cereal or fruit bowl measures 5 3/4" in diameter x 1 1/2" tall.

Egg cup Measures  2 1/2" tall x  1 3/4" in diameter.

Creamer measures  2 5/8" tall x 4 1/4" spout to handle.

Sugar bowl measures 3 1/2" tall to the top of the finial x 5 1/2" from handle to handle.

Toast plate measures  6 1/2" in diameter.

Breakfast plate measures  7 3/4" in diameter.

Pancake plate measures  7 3/4" in diameter.

Pancake cover measures  6" in diameter x  2 1/2" to the top of the handle.

Ver good antique vintage condition to commensurate with age band use. No chips or cracks. There is some rubbing of the gold paint on some of the handles and the sugar lid finial.
