Up for sale is a 200 year old primitive child’s chair. It came from a North Georgia estate that had it “since before the Civil War.” Put together with wood pegs and square nails. Several generations played with it. About a century ago, the big house caught fire and it was on of the pieces rescued, but with damage. It was restored, and several more generations used it, until the last generation that didn’t care about it. It’s good for at least another 100 years!

The back is approximately 21 inches high. The feet have been worn and cut down until the seat is only 6 & 1/2 inches high. Not sure of the age of the woven oak bottom, likely early 20th Century. If you like pieces with history and character, you’ll love this piece!

Our price is now only $62! Packing and shipping is a flat $28. CONUS sale and shipping only. Our policy is simple, if you get it and don’t like it, you have the EBay 14-day return privilege. Reasonable offers considered.

Thanks for looking.
