This is for a nice Edwardian antique sterling silver stamp case fob from 1909 and fashioned as a miniature purse. It is hinged with a catch and inside are two compartments to hold the stamps, of course it can be used to hold any small keepsakes or small photos. The silver is engraved one both sides and has an empty cartouche for engraving and the silver carries a full set of hallmarks dating it to Birmingham 1909 along with the makers initials C&S for James Clark & John Sewell. It has a suspension ring for hanging to a chain and it is in excellent  condition with very light surface wear as per the pics. It measures 40mm (1.5") x 25mm (1”).
