Beautifully detailed silver plated pewter 11 x 8 cm photo frame with a kestrel hovering over a stone-walled field, two hares & a mouse hiding by the wall. It was designed by Maureen Ann Storey-Jones (MASJ) of "Silver Scenes", a company set up in Wales & moving later to Shropshire. 7.5 x 5.5 cms of a photo shows through the front.

It's in very good vintage condition, just a small crease on the backing & a hanging ring has been attached, which is not original. It's signed 'MASJ '97' 'Silver Plated'.

The verse around the edge says "The kestrel hovering by day, And the little owls that call by night. Bid him be swift and keen as they,As keen of ear, as swift of sight." - lines from 'Into Battle' by Julian Grenfell, a WWl poet.

Happy to pass on any combined postage savings.
