The Scale (Size) : This model is 1/43rd scale, typically between 3 1/2" & 5" in length, very similar to, and compatible with, 'O' Gauge (1/48).
The Good (Description) : A beautiful hand built model from a resin Provence Moulage kit in excellent condition.
The Bad (Flaws) : No original packaging, but I will provide a bespoke box for storage.
The Fine Print (What You Need to Know) :
1. This is not a business. This is me passing the fruits of a lifetime of collecting to the next generation. This is supposed to be fun. For you and for me. I want to be your favorite seller and will do everything to achieve that end. Please review my feedback to get a sense of my commitment to my customers.
2. I'm a perfectionist. In my descriptions, in my photographs, in my packing, in my response, and in my integrity. If you see a mistake or an omission or a flaw that I didn't see, let me know. I'm a perfectionist, but I'm far from perfect! ;) ('specially as these old eyes get older!)
3. Here's my seller's strategy: I post most things as a Buy it Now (with some exceptions). All items are listed at or less than I paid for it. I'm not here to make a killing; I just want to find new homes before I go tits up.
4. Please don't message me with "Let's Make a Deal" offers. In short, I'm not a deal maker. I don't like to haggle. Honestly, it makes me uncomfortable having back and forth negotiations. In short, it's no longer fun. If my pricing is off, I feel I err on the side of being too cheap. Please don't ask me to accept less or end an auction or any one of several ploys that will always leave me feeling stressed out. My prices are fair. Buy the toy. Or don't. You've got to want it as much as I did. But, if you want some steals, become a customer. Buy some stuff from me. Establish Trust. Get to know me. Develop a relationship or friendship with me, as I have with many customers. It's a way better way to do business. And way more rewarding for both of us. That makes giving a discount fun for me.
5. One more thing: The photos are shot with DSLR 24MP cameras and are merciless in their detail. I guarantee you that the toy will look significantly better in your hand than in a 4X magnified image on screen, but I have always subscribed to promise less and deliver more. Just want to make the point that the magnified photos expose flaws often times not noticed with the naked eye.
From Me to You (Shipping) :
1. All domestic packages are sent Priority Mail. eBay does the calculating.
2. For domestic sales, if it is a single model and I can get the package under 1 pound, you have the option of Ground. Just let me know if you can wait a little longer and want to save some bucks. I'll refund any overpayment of actual shipping cost.
3. I have customers in the UK, France, and Canada, so shipping to those locations is International First Class for packages under 2 kgs. eBay does the calculating. I think under 2kg, it's around $25-$28. I do not use eBay?s Global Shipping Program.
4. Multiple Purchases. I will always combine items and discount shipping for both domestic and International sales. I will pack the models, weigh the box and charge you for exact shipping fees. Your overpayment will be refunded, so don't worry about paying too much while purchasing.
5. I will always ship within 24 hours of purchase. Always. The models are at hand, not in a warehouse. Exceptions would be if I'm on holiday with my lovely bride. I'll be sure to make note when I'm away.
6. Don't ever fret about the care or attention paid to safely packaging your new found treasure. I am obsessive about my packing and spend more on materials and time than any sane person should. Like I said before, I'm a perfectionist. You will not be disappointed.
