Antique Canary Glass Whale Oil Lamp, Lemon Squeezer Base, New England Glass Co., c. 1835 - 1855. This is a beautiful canary glass whale oil lamp, with an eight panel glass font and a square lemon squeezer base. This whale oil lamp is was probably manufactured at the New England Glass Co., in Cambridge, MA., during the first half of the 19th Century. This wonderful lamp has a two tube whale oil burner. I am pleased to offer this fine canary glass whale oil lamp with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The lamps is 9 1/4" H. x 2 13/16" Dia. font and 3" square at the base. The two tube whale oil burnert is 1 5/8" L.. CONDITION: The lamps is in very good overall condition with the expected small chips and roughness to the base and corners of the lamp. The two tube burner has one tube that is losse in it's hole. There are several small bubbles, sand, striations and imperfections found in early flint glass.
