This is a French oval, vintage style cast iron trivet worktop saver bought from a traditional French brocante market. This pan stand trivet is in a fairly well used item in vintage condition with some signs of a previous life which give it a unique shabby chic appeal, some bits of loss of paint. This trivet would suit a country cottage or farmhouse style kitchen, equally it would be a great gift for a dog lover. As this was purchased as used, at a French market, whilst described as vintage in style we cannot be sure of its age, but it is probably no more than 15 years old, please see pictures.
