This is a very unusual piece. An original heavy brass clock dial from a waiting room type wooden wall clock. This dates from around the 1900s
This dial is engraved brass which is a far less common material, and retains some of the original silvering, although quite worn. As you can see there is some noticeable overall deterioration to the finish, some pitting and some wear. The hands are in good condition.

Fitted with a high quality battery quartz mechanism that is fully guaranteed for twelve months. Requires one AA battery which is supplied with the clock.
