Additional information:
Helios-44 58 mm f/ 2.0 is a high-power normal lens for 35 mm SLR cameras with an M39 connection thread.

Designed based on the Biotar 2/58 lens (Carl Zeiss Jena). The optical scheme was calculated in GOI in 1951.

The lens was produced with an iris aperture of 7, 8 or 13 petals. The frame is not painted, made of high-quality aluminum alloy. There are versions with a minimum aperture of 22.

Under the name "Helios-44" had a connecting thread M39x1/45,2 and was used:
as a standard for the camera "Crystal" and "Zenit-3M"
as a replacement for the Zenit, Zenit-S and Zenit-3 cameras and other Zeniths
, early releases of the lens had a red letter "P" on the decorative ring and a marking of the focal length in centimeters. The front and rear lenses have lilac illumination. There is a version with a pronounced orange enlightenment. Lenses with serial numbers starting with one, two or three zeros were also produced. It was suggested on the forums that they were intended for managers of different ranks. (added Webwalker).

The most artistic drawing is the version of the Helios-44 lens with a 13-lobed aperture.
