Original editorial grey quarter cloth with lettering gilt on board and black on spine, slight signs of wear with corners rubbed, overall a good copy.

Book produced (updated) by the Submarine Signal Corporation for their underwater acoustic signalling system to aid the navigation of the ships. Contains an updated list of ships and stations using the system. Submarine signalling had been extensively used in the first part of the 20th century, becoming obsolete after WW2. Including two folded maps at the end Submarine Bells North and Baltic Seas and Submarine Bells Canada and United States.
