The softly shining lid has a lovely light green mother-of-pearl like luster, along with embossing and unusual scalloped edges. Under the lid and the lower box section is a translucent golden yellow color.
It measures approx 4.5" x 3" and 1.5" deep to top of the lid's edge. It weighs a mere 2.5 ounces. There is no backstamp.
Condition is fair with no chips or cracks but with scuffs and scratches. When the reflective surface of the lid is held in the light just so, there's a spot and pitting visible. The lid lines up perfectly and the hinge is firmly attached and in great condition.
