is a Vintage Brass Embossed Magazine/Newspaper Rack with Family Meal
Scene to Front. This is in excellent condition and is a very attractive
piece. The brass has an embossed scene to the front showing a family
sharing a meal scene to the front. The embossed backing pattern folds
around to the sides of the magazine rack, which gives a lovely
appearance. The back of the piece is plain. The brass is fixed to the
wooden structure with brass rivets, which gives a quality finish.
The
magazine rack has two compartments so is ideal for storing both
magazines and newspapers. The slim-line shaping of the piece makes it
ideal for storing in narrow spaces down the side of your favourite seat.
The magazine rack stands on two wedged feet. Through time the rack has
acquired a patina, which enhances the appearance of the piece and the
colouring of the brass. This will make an excellent addition to the
home.
