Beautiful artwork by Walter Alois Weber hand cut wood puzzle made by Northwoods Workshop in Minocqua Wisconsin.  This Weber print (now puzzle) features 4 different Warblers ~ Cape may, Golden-Winged, Blackburnian and Magnolia.

To me it has a beautiful chinoiserie look to it.

Mr. Weber was a renowned animal artist and was, for a time, an illustrator at National Geographic.  Per Wikapedia, "In 1941, he became an ornithologist at the National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC."

I've seen these pieces dated between 1930-50's.  I am not sure, but I am certain this is an old hand cut wood puzzle.
