This fantastic card was issued by
the Arbuckle Bros. Coffee Company of in New York as an insert
premium in their brand of Ariosa Coffee. This was issued in 1892 (as
indicated by the copyright on the front of the card). This series
is designated as K5 in Burdicks American Card Catalogue (ACC) , and is
entitled “ History of the United States and Territories ”,
Each card features some illustrated scenes typical to the State.
The lithography was done by the Donaldson Bros. of New York. The
back features advertising for the company as well as a brief history of
the State. This card features Washington. The card
measures 5 inches by 3 inches approximately. The card
does have some creasing and some wear.
I have scanned the card, front and back, fairly large for you to be
able to judge condition for yourself. Don't Miss out on this over 130 year old American Historical
Antique.
