Stunning left in antique condition coal scuttle with shovel

Measures approx to handle 18 inch and approx 17 across

Has age wear and imperfections please see pictures. 

This is a used authentic piece it is not pristine and has not been cleaned and has scuffs a crack on the side of lid

Believe this to be brass but has a lovely patina that has a copper look possibly some copper in there as well could be a mix but there is a small polished area at front which is brass but im not an expert

Ebonised wood handle needs polishing

The handle is a bit loose and moves slightly but is sturdy to carry

This i believe is hand crafted the base has been made separately and studded on it would have come like this gives this a put together look but they are all the same so not a repair just studded in

The design i would say is early art nouveau so late Victorian

Posting I use recycled boxes and eco bubble wrap and brown paper I will pack well I do not charge for this - will combine postage - however this is combined on weight and size Items sent via a Royal mail service. I will update when the item has been sent  

I try and post as soon as possible but cannot send every day or over the weekend.
