The polished cover can make the Black Widow Ghost Pearl a bit sensitive to oil for lower rev rate players and extremely responsive to drier patterns for higher rev rate players. Bowlers who experience either of these can change the surface or start with other balls and wait until there has been some transition to switch into the box-finished Ghost Pearl.
The Black Widow Ghost Pearl brings back a shiny pearl cover to the Black Widow line, giving bowlers a skid/flip option for a variety of conditions. It lives up to the Black Widow name and provides a reaction that's been missing since the Black Widow Pink.
