This was made to cover the control board of the iP2000 so that any spillage or splashing of beverages gets deflected as to not infiltrate the control board though the knob or push buttons. It is not meant to be water tight but to deflect spillage. 

I added the "No Drinks Please" to remind people that the flat surface on top of the base unit is Not a table to set beverages on, Text is embedded into the part and made of the same material.

the top has a textured surface that very closely matches the surface of the base unit.
