1965 Mustang Coupe with modified L6 200 engine.

We bought this car in 2010 off eBay motors.  The car was located in Sierra Vista, AZ.  I rebuilt the current L6 motor in  2012. The new fuel system (fuel tank, electric fuel pump, fuel lines, HolleySniper Carburetor and EFI module) were added in 2021.

This car has been garage kept since we purchased it.

Engine modifications include:

·        1980 Cylinder Head for maximum intake manifoldvolume

·        Intake manifold modified to accept larger carburetor.

·        Intake manifold ported and polished for improvedflow.

·        Mild performance Comp Cams Cam

·        Flat Top pistons

·        Classic Inlines Valve Cover

·        K&N Air Filter

·        2 Barrel Holley Sniper w/Sniper EFI

Also has:

·        Ceramic coated Hooker Headers (6 to 2) and glasspack mufflers (sounds great!)

·        Aluminum Radiator with Evans High PerformanceWaterless Engine Coolant.

·        New Fuel tank, in tank electric fuel pump, andnew fuel lines.

·        5 speed BorgWarner T-5 transmission

·        Legendary Wheels with BFG Radial T/A tires.

·        LED Head/Tail lights

The odometer shows 6375 miles on it.  It’s had about 2300 miles put on it since theengine rebuild and about 200 miles on the tires/rims.

Known issues:

·        Car was likely in an accident at somepoint:  the driver’s side front fendershows evidence of a poor (bondo?) repair job: it’s cracked. There is a noticeable mismatch with the driver’s sideheadlight frame.

·        The floor boards were replaced at some point

·        The emergency brake lines were removed at somepoint.

·        It has an aftermarket AC unit, but thecompressor puts a noticeable load on the motor when you run it
