You are purchasing (1) 1970-71 VANCOUVER CANUCKS NHL PROGRAM from a game played against the LOS ANGELES KINGS on October 9, 1970 at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, B.C.

This was the first regular season game for the Vancouver Canucks as a member of the NHL.

Barry Wilkins would score the first goal in Vancouver Canucks NHL history - but Bob Berry would notch a pair of goals as the visiting Los Angeles Kings skated to a 3-1 victory dampening the spirits slightly of Canucks fans.

In this game…Len Lunde had an assist…Orland Kurtenbach had a fight…George Gardner got the L as goaltender - all of these were firsts in Vancouver Canucks NHL history.

The back cover of the program has a small tear halfway down the left edge…there is some paper loss on the back cover (see beer mug)…there are some check marks added in blue ink on p.56…there is plenty of wear on the front cover…otherwise there are no additional rips/tears or additional writing/printing in this 70 page program.
