Belt came from an Estate of an Elder gentleman who was over 90 years old, everything in the estate was 1800's till 1950's - I think this belt was an heirloom from his family from centuries and not a Hollywood item from MGM times of decades past. The fabric , Buckle and the Metal threading etc etc appears to be centuries old. I don't know much to say only that it surely belongs in a museum or collector. I being a collector myself of antique and vintage belts from high end designers and avantegarde pieces and I have never had anything so precious in my hand. the belt needs to be shipped in a box that's the length of the belt, it can't be rolled or folded.
