About 15 years ago I was at an estate auction and bought a box
lot. It was mostly old paper and a few photo albums that were falling
apart. One of those albums had a whole bunch of Polaroid instant type
photos of Hockey Scenes. In index for the photo album were the titles
Montreal 72, Boston 73, Montreal 73, Boston 74. Many of the photo’s had a
typed out paper strip explaining who was in the photos on the back and light
printed year in pencil. They all seem to be taken at Maple Leaf Gardens,
various shots of NHL players (many of whom ended up in the Hockey Hall of Fame)
getting off and on the Team Bus (they don’t let any fans that close
anymore sadly) Coming out of the dressing room’s, Warm up Skates, and Game
pictures. Because these are instant photos they are ONE OF A KINDS.
It is a fantastic photo history from a fan perspective that is not often
seen. Each one measures 3 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches. THIS PARTICULAR
PHOTO features a shot of Dave Keon and Ron Ellis during a pre game warm up skate on the ice at MAPLE LEAF GARDENS It does have some yellow lines to the back
from being in the album for so many years. However It is free from
creases or tears with sharp corners. Over all it displays very
well. These don’t come up very often. I am not even sure if
you were allowed to take pictures of games at the Gardens so I imagine these
are a tough find. Own a ONE OF A KIND of hockey history. I also have other polaroids from this same
night up for sale at the moment.

Due to my work
schedule and distance to the post office I am only able to ship Monday
Mornings. If I
haven’t received payment for an item by Sunday evening, the item will
have to wait until the next Monday to go out. Its unfortunate but
unavoidable. If this doesn’t work for you I respectfully ask that
you do not bid or buy. Thanks again.
This will be mailed
from the USA.
For USA purchases I
Can combine shipping. Please message me
for details.
