Partially restored antique stagecoach trunk. 

Most of original leather has been removed and wood has been refinished. Base moulding has been replaced with modern stock (can be removed)  

Original interior lining is intact, with label. Original hardware and brass tacks intact.  Medallion on side may or may not be original.

I found an advertisement for William Boyd saddles and trunks, in the Literary and Catholic Sentinel (1835), Volume I, Number 17, 25 April 1835.           It was located near Fanuiel Square in Boston MA.
