Wonderful dragons hand carved in to the thick frame on each corner 

Copper hardware on board 

Terrific chess pieces - all beautifully shaped and full of character 

Unusually, the pawns are all different characters 

All folds up for easy storage or transporting 

Each piece has its own little elastic aged cord “hammock” for safe keeping 

18 inches square when opened, and 3 inches in height 

Märks and signs of commensurate age and use as you would expect - which I believe just adds more character

One of the pawns has a few scuffs

And the board has a small piece of the veneer missing 

But these things do not detract from its charm or playability
