This set includes 12 steel date nails from 1935 thru 1946 that were used to date the installation of wooden railroad ties and/or electric poles.  The much more scarce 1944 date is present! (Iron became scarce during WW2.)

The nails were made of iron/steel, most likely in the United States and are great collectibles for train and transportation enthusiasts. They belong to the Railroadiana & Trains category and the Hardware subcategory, specifically Spikes & Nails. Don't miss out on this unique piece of history!

This set ranges from 2.25" to 2.75" long.

I have other date nails available!
