This is a lovely retro vintage hand painted Jersey Pottery rose bowl/bud vase/pot pourri bowl in  cream with a hand painted simple paired leaves design which probably dates from the 1960s or 70s.

What makes it rare and unusual is that it is marked underneath “Made by the Jersey Pottery C.I for the Garden House Hotel, Cambridge” by scratching the writing into a dark brown glazed base.

It stands about 6.5cm high and is about 13.5cm in diameter across the widest part, about 8cm across the base and 3.5cm across the top opening. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or nibbles that I can find.
