 ORIGINAL ART - BOOK COVER

"CRASH DIVE 500"

 artist: FRED GAMBINO

This is the original cover painting for a WW2 adventure novel by Edwyn Gray, published by MacDonald/Futura, 1981  (I show the published cover for your reference) One of a small handful of early cover illustrations Fred painted in oil, this one highly detailed and colorful, in a "wraparound" landscape format,  17.5" x 23" and signed.  Whether it's battleships, submarines or soldiers Fred does a marvelous job depicting scenes of war. Listed at $850, now reduced for this sale.

NOTE:  If you are purchasing more than one painting on the same day during this sale in this series, I will charge no more than to ship one (refund after purchase).  No rights of reproduction accompany the sale.   Overseas buyers: there are some locations to which I prefer not to ship; if you want me to consider an exception for you, please message me through eBay.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me before bidding.   For other choices in illustration art you can also visit the Worlds of Wonder website and browse our online gallery of illustrative art!  Happy bidding!
