This is a set of eight vintage wine glasses made by the German brand Nachtmann and purchased by my family in Germany in 1975. They were display only and I am unsure how the dark blue one was chipped. They are, however, still quite beautiful and apparently are an unusual, rare pattern.
The glasses are cut-to-clear crystal, very weighty and feature eight different colors. They are goblet-shaped and stand 8.5 inches tall with a 3-inch diameter at the rim. They taper into a wider bowl and would hold an amount equal to other similar glasses.
The glasses are part of the Stemware product line and are probably most suitable for a more elegant event. They are recommended for hand washing only.
