Il disco freno bici Flame si caratterizza per il suo design tanto unico quanto funzionale, è la soluzione perfetta per i rider che cercano un maggiore controllo e una potenza di arresto modulabile. Non è solo l’esclusivo design a fiamma, FLAME, a garantire prestazioni superiori, ma anche i materiali con cui sono prodotti questi dischi. La lega di acciaio di alta qualità che viene infatti utilizzata conferisce ai dischi caratteristiche di attrito e durata insuperabili. I fori a forma di fiamma e il perimetro esterno garantiscono una uguale superficie di contatto tra la pastiglia e il disco freno durante l'intera rotazione del disco. Il contatto uniforme fra i componenti si traduce in un'azione frenante fluida e più prevedibile, oltre a una ridotta usura. L’orientamento delle fessure a forma di fiamma è stato studiato appositamente per far sì che le fessure siano allineate alla direzione del movimento. Ciò evita che le fessure maggiori vadano a scheggiare e danneggiare le pastiglie freno. Il perimetro esterno a forma di fiamma e le fessure di sfiato si sovrappongono per pulire continuamente l'intera superficie delle pastiglie dei freni a contatto con il disco, mentre si dissipa velocemente il calore. Il design Flame assicura che le pastiglie dei freni siano sempre supportate in modo uniforme sulla fascia frenante. Ciò impedisce alle pastiglie di inclinarsi quando sottoposte ad alte pressioni. I dischi freno Flame sono realizzati in speciale acciaio inossidabile temprato di alta qualità utilizzando macchine CNC all'avanguardia. L’area di attrito è realizzata con tecniche di taglio laser e sottoposta a trattamenti superficiali anticorrosione su entrambi i lati per ottenere un parallelismo esatto. Ciò assicura un'azione frenante precisa e controllabile con un feedback ottimale per il biker.

Ispirato al funzionamento degli ammortizzatori Fox, il piccolo sistema di connessione interno tra la camera d'aria negativa e positiva del sistema FLOAT, permette una compensazione automatica della sospensione in ogni momento, con un equilibrio di funzionamento perfetto. Il sistema si autoregola riducendo la forza iniziale necessaria per attivare la forcella, ottenendo una sospensione molto più sensibile alle piccole irregolarità del terreno. La curva del sistema può essere modificata attraverso i distanziali interni.

In modalità Open (aperto), le forcelle della serie Factory hanno oltre 22 clic di regolazione della compressione a bassa velocità per adattare perfettamente la risposta dell'ammortizzazione alle preferenze dell'utente.
L'ammortizzatore della cartuccia FIT4 è stato rinnovato a partire dal premiato ammortizzatore HSC/LSC per ottenere un ammortizzatore molto più avanzato compatibile con tutte le forcelle Fox. Il risultato è una maggiore sensibilità con lo stesso sostegno.

The Flame bicycle brake disc is characterized by its unique and functional design, it is the perfect solution for riders looking for greater control and modular stopping power. It is not only the exclusive flame design, FLAME, that guarantees superior performance, but also the materials with which these discs are produced. The high quality steel alloy that is used gives the discs unsurpassed friction and durability characteristics. The flame-shaped holes and the external perimeter guarantee an equal contact surface between the pad and the brake disc during the entire rotation of the disc. Consistent contact between components results in smooth, more predictable braking action, as well as reduced wear. The orientation of the flame-shaped slots has been specifically designed to ensure that the slots are aligned with the direction of movement. This prevents larger cracks from chipping and damaging the brake pads. The flame-shaped outer perimeter and vent slots overlap to continuously clean the entire surface of the brake pads in contact with the rotor, while quickly dissipating heat. The Flame design ensures that the brake pads are always supported evenly on the braking band. This prevents the pads from tilting when subjected to high pressures. Flame brake discs are made from special high quality hardened stainless steel using state of the art CNC machines. The friction area is made with laser cutting techniques and subjected to anti-corrosion surface treatments on both sides to achieve exact parallelism. This ensures a precise and controllable braking action with optimal feedback for the biker.

Inspired by the functioning of Fox shock absorbers, the small internal connection system between the negative and positive air chamber of the FLOAT system allows automatic compensation of the suspension at all times, with a balance of perfect functioning. The system self-adjusts by reducing the initial force needed to activate the fork, obtaining a suspension that is much more sensitive to small irregularities in the terrain. The curve of the system can be modified through the internal spacers.
