Presenting a beautiful example of a top of the line 1984 Washburn A-20V BBR Series ( Black Black Red )  Electric Guitar complete with a Original Washburn Case. (Handle was upgraded at one point).

This guitar always reminded me of the 1966 Batmobile.

Word buzzing around the net is its Made in Japan at the  Matsumoku factory or some say the CHUSHIN factory made all the BBRs. Who really knows for sure.

This is the real deal from the Golden era of Washburn. Washburn was bought out in 1988.

Purchased from the original owner Looks all original other than Whammy bar.

Pretty Rare in this condition.

Definately a very cool Collectable guitar with a KISS vibe.

Features:

1. Black Laquer finish.

2. On board is the original Dive Bomber Fine Tuning Vibrato. I like this better than the Wonderbar Trem as seen on some issues.

3.String Locking at the Nut ( its missing one nut that locks B & E strings.

4. Power Sustain Humbucking Pickups

5.Fast "action" neck profile with easy acess to lower frets

6.Neck through Body

7. Two pull pots for single or double coil sound. The Original 2 stickers are still on the lnobs.

8. Non original Wammy bar

9.  Washburn  brown case.

Cosmetics are real nice. Plays great

Straight neck.

There is some mild fret wear but plays smooth. Low action.

As always guitars should be set up to your personal playing preference. But nice as is.
