This is just wonderful, an old French wooden framed mirror with a brass art nouveau sconce wall light at the bottom. Tall, slim and oozing with French charm, I wondered if it wasn't actually all that old at first but the clear yellow wiring makes it at least 50 years old. The wood is warm and polished with old marks and scars, and the brass has the patina of its age. Perhaps not early 20th Century original Art Nouveau but a good quality mid-century reproduction.

A wonderful gift for anyone with a love of French vintage style and a fantastic decorators piece. Ideal for any home and it could be the perfect prop for a TV, film or theatrical production.

In EXCELLENT vintage condition: All the signs of age are part of the aesthetic, whether deliberate or not. The mirror is foxed but I don't know if this is natural. I have given it a good clean and it is obviously working. You will need either a professional electrician or a confident DIYer to wire it in your desired location, it will be up to them to get it working there. If you have any concerns about safety you should get it professionally tested after fitting too. It was designed to be used with a European 220/240 volt domestic power circuit, so if you are from a country with 120 volt mains (like USA for example) it may need adapting.
