Takamine's CT4-DX preamplifier delivers unprecedented ample headroom thanks to its 18V high-voltage drive from two 006P/9V batteries. It fully satisfies the wide dynamic range of acoustic guitars, which have a large minimum/maximum range of sound volume, and delivers a pure, distortion-free, rich sound from gentle fingernail plucking to hard picking with visible string shaking.
In addition to Takamine's original "Parasitic" bridge pickups, which have been recognized by top professionals around the world, the guitar is equipped with a dual mode that allows you to connect any pickup you wish. 2 EQs and a notch filter provide equalization that maximizes the individual characteristics of each pickup, while a single EQ provides a wide dynamic range for each pickup. The optional mix balance adjustment provides unprecedented sound flexibility. In normal 1-pickup mode, 2 groups of EQs are linked to provide 4-point EQ and 2 notch filters, which is comparable to the control of a professional PA console.
