  • Inscription is smeared (fountain pen?) authenticating the 1935 time frame
Condition Description: Poor with loose and cocked spine. Interior hinges separating at front and elsewhere within. Dark blue covers are faded and worn with tattered edges. Gilt lettering to cover and spine is faded. Broken hinge - inside front cover. Hinge repaired at half-title and Billy the Kid illustration pages. Occasional creased pages and notched lower inner page corners affecting pages 255-260 (appears to be a printing flaw.) Discolored page edges with a few small stains. Vertical page creases affecting pages 388 through end (hardly noticeable.)
