drive did take CDs in and ejected them without problems, but did not read them. It seems CD is not able to go all the way in the drive, it did attempt to push CDs through over and over again, but did not spin CDs while reading them. I don't think laser is the problem (can't test it), something wrong with the mechanism
only suits CUH-12XX model
please message me prior to buying it to make sure you are buying the right part
