Madame Alexander Little Lady Maggie Doll #1050 Walker 1960 Rare Tagged Dress 8in

Here is a rare doll! This is Maggie as Little Lady by Madame Alexander, #1050. This doll was made in 1960 only and is very hard to find today.

Maggie wears her original tagged dress, pinafore, hair ribbon, socks and shoes but has lost the rest of her outfit and accessories. She would have originally come in a shadow box display frame with toiletries inside. She wore gaiters to make her shoes appear as high button boots. Her pinafore has some yellowing from age.

I completed Maggie's costume with a Madame Alexander slip and pantaloons from the same era as the doll. Then I gave Maggie a mirror and perfume bottle so she remains a real little lady!

Maggie's hair is perfect and all original. Her blue sleep eyes and walker work. I restrung her arms and legs, fixed two tiny splits on one side, and refreshed her cheek blush. She has a loose knee but can still sit and stand alone and pose. There are white spots on her leg and body I couldn't remove. Please see the photos.

Maggie is tagged with my own signed tag and wears a new hair net. She's a wonderful addition to any Midcentury doll collection!
