This is a sale for a 100% original Program for the Michigan Wolverines at the University of Illinois Fighting Illini Badgers for the 1947 tilt of THE GAME. This program is in GOOD condition.

This PROGRAM is INCREDIBLY SIGNIFICANT for a multitude of reasons:

     * Michigan went on to win the 1947 (and later 1948) National Championship!!!

     * The program features 1947 and future All-Americans: Bob Chappuis (consensus), Bob Mann, Len Ford, Bruce Hilkene, Dominic Tomasi, JT White, Dick Kempthorn & Bump Elliott, etc  (UM) as well 2x AA and 1948 Consensus Alex "Lou" Agase and Ike Owens & Herbert Siegert (IL)

    * Road game programs are hard to find and this is a toughie for sure.

Before I delve into the flaws, let me share the great things about the condition. The original staples are solidly holding all pages including the cover & center pages. The program is unscored with no writing too!!!! And all pages are accounted for, a must!!!

The less than ideals are: the most noticeable is just the normal surface/edge/spine/page turn wear as well as normal handling soiling. Corners are rounded too.  The bottom right corner is dog eared several times. The inside pages are all of the same light cream color/aging. The back shows the same flaws the best given the white paper stock. This program was a tough road game for the National Champ season. Please see pix.
