Temporary tattoos date back to the early 1900s when companies tried to increase sales of certain items by including "a prize in every box". Granted, that prize was a crappy little transfer image that looked great for about half a day but stayed on the skin looking crap for about 6 weeks (maybe an over-exaggeration). Ultimately, Mum had to use olive oil to get the damn things off... Good times.
Somewhere in the evolutionary tree of temporary tattoos came this version which presents itself within the wrapping of a crappy flavoured gum (apparently its tutti frutti) that hasn't changed since my childhood (the 1990s)... clearly, the draw card of this product is the tattoo.
