1915-S BARBER QUARTER
MINTAGE: 704,000 - GOOD CONDITION
This lot offers a decent example of a lower mintage 1915-S Barber quarter.  This coin easily merits a grade of Good - but you will note some residue on the obverse.  This coin came out of a quite old Barber quarters folder - the kind where coins often fall-out of their holes.  The previous owner ran scotch tape across the obverse and it is glue residue that remains.  I’m not sure if it can easily be removed??   It does look much worse in the scans as it shows up as a light brown and more dense.  So, you should view the photos closely, compare my coin against others on Ebay, and then form your own opinion as to grade, overall appeal and value!  I scan my photos and the occasional white speck/fleck on or near the pictured coin was on my scanner bed and not a defect on the coin.  I do my best to point out actual defects that go beyond normal circulation - but these old eyes sometimes miss something.  Consider the photos as a ‘what you see is what you get’!
