TARGUS New (New Old Stock) Laptop Briefcase/Bag, Feature Ladened, MINT. Top loading briefcase style. Beautiful black and dark olive green design (photo #10 is the best representation of the color, think Army Green or Military Green). Use for laptops, IPads, tablets or as a school or business briefcase, even without a laptop. Demensions are 17" x 13" x 4". Ample, intelligent storage space. A lockable, dedicated compartment holds 11" x 16" wide and smaller laptops within the "Sling Safeport Protection System" compartment, which floats the laptop above the bottom of the case and below the top of the case for maximum drop & bump protection. A 12" x 16" laptop will fit in the sling but may reach the case top. A 13" x 16" laptop will fit outside of the sling. Has 2, 16" x 10" pockets for files, paperwork, documents, IPads, tablets, etc. Also has a 16" x 12" compartment for tablet, IPad, documents, files, etc. which contains 2, 7.5" x 11.5" mesh, open top pockets. Exterior has 2 zippered pockets. One is 10" x 11" wide and the zipper puller hides when closed. This pocket sits on top of a 10" x 15" wide compartment and includes 2, 5" x 5" x 3/8" open top pouches, 3 pen/pencil loops, an ID/business cards, mesh, see through pouch and a plastic, 360° swiveling snap hook for keys, key ring, ID badge, etc.
Weighs only 2-lbs., 1.5-ounces. Nylon zippers have metal pullers. The dedicated laptop compartment is lockable, see photo #s 17 & 18. Has a removable shoulder strap with a padded shoulder which is still packaged, see photo #s 19 & 20. The carrying handles are comfortably padded, see photo #s 21 & 22. The outside rear has a hook and loop fastened TROLLEY STRAP for attaching to the handles of rolling luggage and trolleys, see last 2 photos. This is a continuous loop strap, meaning it cannot fall off your luggage or trolley. The size allows it to fit in airplane/train overhead compartments or under the seat.
The model # is TBT050-02. TARGUS is worldwide, but is headquartered in Anaheim, California, USA. Targus was the originator of the very 1st computer bags in 1983, in England. This is a very well made bag with lots of intelligent storage and has never been used, it is in MINT condition. Has many uses. Use as a regular business or school briefcase.
My partner was the original owner and I am selling as a result of his passing. It have been properly stored in a smoke free home.
