This vintage ONL baseball has been signed on the sweet spot by Don Newcombe, MVP and CY Young of the 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers. Don started his career in the Negro League with the Newark Eagles then played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, becoming the 3rd black player to pitch in Major League Baseball!  Don passed away in 2019 after a remarkable career with the Brooklyn Dodgers being a 4 time all-star and 3 time 20 game winner.  The authenticity of the autograph has been verified by Beckett Authentication Services (BAS).
