An excellent drawing by Herbert Edwardes, who later became known as the 'Hero of Multan'. He has attributed his source for this drawing as Major Dalafosse.

The drawing was extracted by us from an album titled 'The Lahore Residency' which contained other original artwork by Edwardes.

Other examples of Edwardes' work are held in the India Office Library. For Edwardes' full biography, see the Wikipedia.
