Antique 1920’s dress : black sequins with red poppy flowers.

In my photos I  tried to show how the dress color changes depending on the angle of light.

The dress has vine and flowers  beadwork made with a slightly raised beads.

The flowers and leaves  (red and green) are lined with silk behind the beadwork.

The sequins are made of celluloid, (invented in 1886 it was widely used for embellishing Victorian and  Edwardian evening gowns).

Small sleeves. Two slits on the sides. The dress back is 2 " longer. Black silk lining.

Condition: Great. Strong, no holes, no discoloration, no underarm issues. A few sequins are missing.

 Flat measurements:

Length - 44" (front) 46" (back)

Underarm to underarm in front - 19"

Waist - 38" (round)

Hips - 41' (round)

Sleeve - 5" (from inside)
