Johann Balthasar Leibrock (Balser Lybrook) was born in 1728 in Limbach, Germany. His parents were Georg Heinrich Leibrock and Eva Catharina. He emigrated in 1750. He married Catherine Ream 4 May 1754 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. In about 1755 they moved to Giles County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Includes Burk, Chapman, Draper, Phillips, Snidow and related families.
