Author: Dwiggins, William Addison
Title: Towards a Reform of the Paper Currency Particularly in Point of its Design
Publication: NY: Limited Editions Club, 1932

Description: Quarto. 23pp., (4)ff. One of 452 copies, signed by the author. Dwiggins facetiously discusses the atrocities of the present design of currency and postage stamps, proposing new ones based on those issued by the fictional country of the Antipodes. Includes plates of Antipodean stamps and a currency sample tipped-in. A near fine copy in leather-backed patterned boards housed in the publisher's slipcase. Spine shows a bit of drying and a few small nicks, otherwise a fine copy of an important and scarce Dwiggins title.
