Die Sessel sehen nicht nur schön aus, sie sind zudem außerordentlich bequem (was nicht bei jedem Designklassiker der Fall ist). Der Tisch hat eine praktische Größe und kann als Ablagebank oder Coffee Table genutzt werden.

Peter Hvidt und Orla Mølgaard gestalteten den AX Chair und Tisch 1947. Das Material ist verformtes Sperrholz. Sperrholz wurde im Flugzeugbau genutzt, für die Möbelproduktion war es ein neues, innovatives Material.

Wir bieten hier eine frühe Ausführung an, die Materialien sind Buchensperrholz, Teaksperrholz, mit Massivteilen, mattiert.

AX-Chairs 6020

In Denmark we found this well preserved set of 2 armchairs and a coffee table. The armchairs not only look beautiful, they are also extremely comfortable (which is not the case with every design classic). The table has a practical size and can be used as a storage bench or coffee table.

Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard designed the AX Chair and Table in 1948. The material is moulded plywood. Plywood was used in aircraft construction, for furniture production it was a new, innovative material.

We offer here an early version, the materials are beech plywood, teak plywood, with solid parts, matted.
