Stevia Rebaudiana is a perennial bushy plant occurring naturally in northeastern Paraguay and the neighboring areas of Brazil. The native Indian tribes - guarans use its leaves as a sweetener.

Stevia rebaudiana is a plant species in the genus Stevia of the sunflower family (Asteraceae), commonly known as candyleaf, sweetleaf, sweet leaf, or sugarleaf.

Chemical composition:

The sweetness of the stevia is due to the con- tained sweet substances called total steviosides (in pure form they are about 200 times as sweet as sugar), as well as plant lipids, polysaccharides, vitamins A, C, B1, B2, F, PP,? -Carotene; flavonoids - rutin, quercetin, quercetin, apigenin, etc .; trace elements - potassium, magnesium, zinc, copper, chromium, selenium, iron, calcium, sodium, amino acids and others.

Stevia has a general tonic effect, restores strength after nervous and physical exhaustion and reduces aging processes. It is an indispensable tool for patients with cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus. steviosides stimulate insulin secretion. Numerous studies have shown that regular stevia utilization reduces sugar, radionuclides and cholesterol in the body, improves cell regeneration and blood coagulation, strengthens blood vessels and normalizes blood pressure.

Steviosides positively influence the activity of the liver and the pancreas, prevent the formation of ulcers in the gastrointestinal tract and prevent it from taking antiseptic drugs. Steviosides are extremely sweet and do not contain calories. They are resistant to high temperature and do not ferment. Unlike synthetic sweeteners and sugar, they not only do not damage the teeth and gums, they protect them from caries, paradontosis and tooth decay, and do not cause hunger for carbohydrates.

Stevia also has antimicrobial and antifungal activity, it helps to remove the slags and salts of the heavy metals from the body, supports the normalization of the metabolism and therefore it is suitable for inclusion in diet for weight loss.

Because of the high content of macro and trace elements, vitamins and many other biologically active substances, it is recommended to diversify the diet of people with a uniform diet, taking inadequate fresh fruits and vegetables and eating mainly with heat-treated products.

Directions for use. * Extract - 1 tsp. herbs are poured with 600 ml of cold water. After 8 hours, strain and drink for 1 day. * Internal and external sprayer: 1 tsp. pour the herb with 600 ml of boiling water, cover for 30 minutes. Drink the tea three times a day in fasting before eating. Spear Extract: 50g sterilized with 300ml of alcohol for 14 days. Drink 10-20 drops 3 times a day in 200 ml of water.
