POLAND - 1944 MONTE CASSINO used - 'Monte Cassino 18 V. 1944' overprint - the date when the Polish and British flags were finally raised over the ruins of the historic hilltop abbey, representing SCOTT 3K17-3K20.
Most of this series is also provided mint hinged, along with the lower values without overprint, as issued in 1943. The 80gr tank issue is missing.
Also, the Poland 1946 "Polish Resettlement Corps" in Italy 'Poczta Osiedli Polskich' Mint MH condition complete 5 stamps - series complete. The Polish resettlement corps was for soldiers who did not want to return to Poland under Communist rule, but remained in one of the other Allied countries under Military service until they were ready to transition to civilian life.
